Harrell, Carolyn O'Rear Ford

Mrs. Harrell, 91, Gadsden, died at the BMC-Cherokee on Thursday, September 23, 2004

She is survived by son: Clifford (Mary Ann) Ford, Rome, Ga; daughters: Tommie (Harry Neil) Fields, Gurley, Al, Carolyn Ann Cole, Collinsville, Sandra Sparks, Cedar Bluff; grandchildren: Timothy Ford, Scott Ford, Cale Cole, Keith (Sara) Edwards, Terrie Wells, Jerry Langston (Corey Epperson), Carolyn (Ray) Nail; 6 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Satutday, September 25, 2004, at Collinsville Funeral Home, Sharpe Chapel.   Rev. Jerry Patton officiating.  Burial at Collinsville Cemetery.  Collinsville Funeral Home directing.

Casketbearers: Grandsons.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday September 24, 2004, from 6 - 8 p.m.

Mitchell, Henry Arthur Jr.

Mr. Mitchell, 86, Gadsden, died at the Gadsden Regional Medical Center on Monday, September 20, 2004.

He is survived by his wife: Bertha Nell Mitchell, Gadsden; son: Marshall (Betty) Mitchell, Marietta, Georgia; daughter-in-law: Patricia Darnell Mitchell, Marietta, Georgia; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters: Mertice Meyer, Collegedale, Tennessee, Nelda Reid, Elgin, S. Carolina, Lorene Boddy, Cleveland, Tennessee, Gladys Borah, Depue, New York, Kathleen Ringer, Higdon, Alabama; brother: Alfred Mitchell, McDonald, Tennessee; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2004, at Collinsville Funeral Home, Sharpe Chapel.   Burial at Plunket Cemetery.  Collinsville Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday September 25, 2004, from 6 - 8 p.m.

Gray, James Walter (J. W.)

Mr. Gray, 71, Collinsville, died at his residence, Tuesday, September 21, 2004.

He is survived by his wife: Lela Mae Gray, Collinsville; chosen children: Bridgett (Joe) Freeman, Crossville, Douglas Templeton, Collinsville; chosen grandchildren: Heath, Shane, Ashton, Eryka and Jessie; chosen great-grandchildren: Abby and Allie; brother: Otis (Martha) Gray, Rainsville; sister-in-law: Edna Gray, Rainbow City; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Casket Bearers: nephews.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 23, 2004, at Collinsville Funeral Home, Sharpe Chapel.   Burial at Providence (Hill) Cemetery.  Collinsville Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Stauffer, 76, Collinsville, died Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at the Cherokee County Nursing Home.

He is survived by his wife: Cleo Stauffer; chosen daughter: Carolyn Smith; special friends: Thomas Barksdale, the staff of the American Cafe.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 16, 2004, at Collinsville Funeral Home, Sharpe Chapel. Rev. Danny Hamilton  officiating.  Burial in Collinsville Cemetery.  Collinsville Funeral Home directing.

Vaughn, Opal Mrs.

Opal Vaughn, 84, Collinsville, died Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at the Collinsville Nursing Home.

She is survived by her sons: Luther David (Pearl) Terrell, Baltimore, Maryland.. Jesse Martin (Elwanda) Westbrooks, Collinsville, Mark William Vaughn, Texarkana, Arkansas; daughter: Tabitha (Gus) King, Arab; grandchildren: Jill King, Jenna King, Jan (Keith) Steele; great-grandchildren: Brittany, Marion and Jeremiah Steele; brothers: Joe E. Terrell, Fyffe, Wendell Terrell, Cleveland, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse David and Stella Terrell, and grandson, Jonathan Gus King.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Collinsville Funeral Home, Sharpe Chapel. Rev. James Adkins  officiating.  Burial in New Harmony Cemetery, Geraldine.  Collinsville Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 10, 2004, from 7 - 9 p.m.
