The Town of Collinsville requires that a Municipal Business Privilege License be obtained prior to the start of any business or engaging in any business activity.
New-business information packets are available at the Town Hall. Applicants are required to fill out a detailed but simple form regarding the nature of their business. While some license fees are based on gross receipts, others are based on flat rates and/or on other factors. It is important that those wishing to start a business verify that the location of the proposed business is properly zoned for that specific type of business. Zoning information is also available at the Town Hall.
Upon approval, applicants will be informed of the cost of their license and of any condition or restriction applicable for engaging in a particular type of business.
