          After School Learning Program

Granted in October 2003, Collinsville Community Learning Centers 
came into being in two distinct locations.

  • Collinsville High School serves as the location of the after school program administered through Collinsville Public Library and funded with money from “No Child Left Behind”.  It serves children K through 8th grade and is open to everyone:  public and private school students , home-schoolers, etc.  Hours of operation are 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday –Thursday.   Call 524-3021 for more information.

  • Collinsville Public Library serves as the location of classes for adults in English as a Second Language and GED preparation.   Computer classes are held on a weekly basis for Learning Center students in Grades Six and Seven.

Current enrollment of the program is 60 students.  The focus of the school program is homework help, academic activities, music and art enrichment, and health and physical fitness.
