FREE Adult Education Classes

The Northeast Alabama Adult Education Program offers free adult education classes at various locations throughout Dekalb, Jackson, and Marshall Counties.  These classes are provided to help anyone 16 years or older and officially withdrawn from school, to improve their skills in English, math, reading and GED preparation.  Special assistance is available for then non-reader as well as for high school graduates to brush-up.  After successfully completing the General Educational  Development (GED) Test, one can qualify for civil service, college entrance, technical training, job advancement and armed services.  Call the library at 524-2323 for more information.  There is no obligation.

ENGLISH  AS  A  SECOND  LANGUAGE

Monday & Wednesday
  4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

12:30p.m. to 3:30p.m.



ADULT  READING  CLASSES

Monday
  10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.


Wednesday
8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
